Just to let you know....Appalachian State will be traveling to LA to battle LSU for their season opener. Battle of the DIV I champions.

For those that are interested the Appalachian State/ LSU Battle of the Champions game on 8/30 has been moved from 5pm to 11am ET. It will be aired on ESPN Classic

BOOOOOOOOOO! Although, we had to let them win because they are about to get hit by another hurricane. LSU will survive!

Still a FANTASTIC game to watch!! We all had faith and hope in the beginning. Glad to see ASU put up some points!

Was it just me or did Armanti "Feet" Edwards look like he put on a couple of pounds? Might of been just TV. ASU has a great team yet again this year! If they stay healthy.

No doubt that this would of been a different game if Edwards had been giving the green light and the game had been played at the ROCK, where it's CRAZY COOL! Obviously, this is the beginning of the season and there was just way to much for ASU to lose other than this game. LSU is damn good though.

I forsee lots of WINS this year for both teams. Hopefully another Championship!

The game yesterday was a little shaky. A number of dropped passes, a touchdown stopped by Blake Elder because he got in the way of Quick, and a hurt backup quarter back, and a poor showing by our "3rd" string QB. Probably not a bad move putting him in though instead of CoCo so he didn't get injured. LSU was just way to big and fast. Still excited about the season though.

Congratulations yet again to the App State Football team/program for winning their fourth straight SoCon Title and playoff berth!!! I bet you didn't know that App State's punter, Neil Young, is a disc golfer!!!!! Looking forward to the playoffs at the Roc and another championship!

Getting closer to #4!!! App State beat SC State 37-21 this past Saturday in the first game of the playoffs.

This Saturday they play the Richmond Spiders at the Rock! Kick off at 12 pm!
